HOUSTON, Texas (July 17, 2023) – Hope Media Group brands KSBJ, WayFM, Vida Unida and NGEN Radio will host the “World’s Biggest Baby Shower” (WBBS) for the second consecutive year. WayFM’s edition of WBBS will be July 17 – 31 and KSBJ, NGEN Radio and Vida Unida have scheduled WBBS for July 31 – August 31. Together with listeners, businesses, and friends Hope Media Group plans to shower moms in need with love and essential items. Hope Media Group invites everyone who wishes to get involved.
By hosting the “World’s Biggest Baby Shower” KSBJ, WayFM, Vida Unida, and NGEN Radio hope this timely and meaningful nationwide campaign will provide diapers, formulas, and wipes to moms in need across the country.
Hope Media Group’s Senior Director of Community Relations, Kim McKee shares, “Last year’s World’s Biggest Baby Shower project was a beautiful portrait of God’s love through caring people around the nation! In addition to the generous gift cards and baby supplies, many donors took the time to include encouraging notes to the moms who desperately need these baby items. We’re forever grateful for the pregnancy help centers around the nation who offer support and encouragement to families during some of their most challenging and difficult times.”
For the 2022 event, the kindness of the Hope Media Group audience exceeded expectations with over 55,000 diapers, 44,976 wipes, 200 cans of formula, and nearly $30,000 in gift cards donated to 40 pregnancy help centers nationwide during the month-long campaign. This year we’re expanding the campaign by two weeks in hopes of helping more moms in need.
